ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Following the successful reception and feature in NPR’s All Songs Considered for her 2018 Tiny Desk submission, frontwoman Aubrey Hays grabbed a drummer (Conner Ingle) and gigged her heart out around Austin, TX. The one thing she was missing? An album.
Aubrey will release her debut EP later in 2019. Her carefully crafted songs will break your heart and put it back together again; her boundless voice will enchant you — sometimes soaring up to land on appalachian lilts and other times striking you with a strong emotional punch to gut.
Inspired by bold songstresses such as Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin, Fiona Apple, and Regina Spektor, her songs are complex and classic. Whether she’s on her electric guitar, piano, ukulele, or vocal looper, Aubrey takes the stage with an undeniable presence; she bravely displays her vulnerability and washes her audience in a haze. If music was made to heal, Aubrey Hays Band is creating that music.

A native of Ft. Worth, Natalie has been singing since she could make noise and writing songs since she got her first guitar. She later moved to Austin and after a warm reception at a local open mic, she began playing music more seriously and hasn’t looked back.
Her style is eclectic, an indie-Americana mix of pop, folk, and little twist of country. Her catchy melodies and smooth voice will put you at ease as she weaves stories of heartache, longing and joy. You might find her playing at local restaurants, coffee shops and house shows around the Lone Star state, or on social media (@natpricemusic on Instagram). Her debut EP, Through The Fog, hit the airwaves in April 2019.
James Jean is an American indie alt-rock artist and singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas. James’ original compositions feature a variety of lyrical styles and musical composition, with primary influences drawing upon jazz, country, western, folk, punk and rock from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
